A fluidized bed biomass gasification reactor is used to produce syngas from and municipal wastes. Gasification a flexible technology where many different types of feedstocks can be used. The University South-Eastern Norway has 20kW which investigate the quality quantity produced using feedstocks. At present, challenge supply feedstock via transport screws. main consists achieving continuous feeding reduction in feed rate. Therefore, this work focused on optimization screw feeder obtain reduced rate while maintaining aim reduce approximately 8 kg/h 3-4 without missing continuity feeding.A model developed CAD software SolidWorks simulated open-source simulation LIGGGHTS combinations parameters. results are processed Excel viewed graphically with visualization ParaView. compared experimental measurements reactor. validated further parameters discussed.
